Thanks once again to Westview Baptist Church for opening their doors. The food was great as always, and of course a special thanks to Dr. James Merritt for sharing on the 4 tools needed to Know Gods perfect will for our lives.
Thanks to all our local sponsors who provided some real nice door prizes that were given away at the meeting; such as, Deka Batteries, 7’ Duckett Fishing Rod, various items from Bass Pro, Gatorland tickets, and some Soft Baits from Bitters Bait & Tackle as well as a $25.00 gift card, and some awesome baits from Producto Lures. After the weigh in we also gave away another $25.00 Gift Card from Bass Pro and Wincore Window & Doors.

It was an absolutely beautiful morning as we launched the 23 teams. It looked like most of the boats ran to the North end of Monroe with 1 or 2 going south towards Harney and 3 going North, but it sounds as if the winning weight brought in by Jimmy Anderson and George Richardson came from Monroe. They managed to find an awesome sack of 21.72 lbs. which included one that weighed 9 lbs. They took home $1,362.50 in cash for their hard work on the water. Nice job Jimmy and George.
2nd Place taking home $645.50 dollars went to Matt Fair and Mark Gunter who also fished Monroe to find their 5 fish that weighed a total of 19.73 lbs. they too had a nice fish that weighed in at 7.16 lbs.
3rd Place was the father and son team of Michael and Dalton Skat who ran south fishing Producto Loures to find a total weight of 18.79 lbs. Not only did they have an impressive sack they weighed in one the tipped the scales at 10.03 lbs., which earned them Big Bass for the day. What a fish. This weight paid them $545.00 dollars.
4th Place was the team of Ken Lucas and Danny Lanier who tipped the scales with 14.14 lbs. of Bass taking home $172.00 for the day.
5th Place with a total weight of 13.94 lbs. was the team of Mike Robinson and Brian Heaberlin.
