Boyd and Howell Take Top Honors at Talquin

Competitors of the Xtreme Bass Lake Talquin division braved morning temperatures in the 30’s to start their 2014 season. The team of David Boyd and David Howell bested the field with a 21.47 pound stringer. Their 5 fish bested Ron Yurko and Steve Burke by more than 4-1/2 pounds. Yurko and Burke took 2nd place, weighing in a 5 bass limit for 16.79.

Big Bass went to the team of David Heflin and Avery Wheeler. Their lunker pushed the scales to 6.88.

The next event will be held February 8th.
