Crandon tops KBS One Man field

As much fun as it can be to fish a tournament with a buddy, sometimes you just have to do it solo. 37 anglers competed against one another over the weekend in the Kissimmee Bass Series One Man at Camp Mack, where 5/100th’s of a pound would separate first and second place.

Jeff Crandon had the upper hand with a 23.45-pound bag, winning the second event of the series. An 8.50-pound TrophyCatch anchored Crandon’s bag, giving him just enough of a push over second place finisher Bobby Wooten.

Wooten, who won the season’s first event last month, weighed a solid 23.40-pound bag in his Top 5 campaign.

Lee Donanto finished the day in third place with 19.20 pounds. He was followed by Bryan Malys in fourth place with 19.15 pounds, and Ryan Hoover in fifth place with 18.85 pounds.

Males caught the tournament’s largest bass, a lunker tipping the scales to 9.50 pounds.

Ryan Jett tied Cradon for the day’s second big bass award with an 8.50-pound TrophyCatch of his own.

The next event for the Kissimmee Bass Series One Man is scheduled for April 2nd at Camp Mack. You can find more information on our Events Calendar, or you can follow along with them on Facebook.
