Dial boats two TrophyCatch bass in victory

The Winter Haven Lunker Lovers concluded their 2015 season earlier this month with their two-day championship at Lake Kissimmee for anglers who qualified throughout the regular season.

John Dial beat out the 17-angler field to close out his season, and ink his first victory of the year with the club. The bulk of his two day total of 34.19 pounds came on day one, when he weighed a 24.70-pound, five-bass limit. Dial was able to boat two TrophyCatch quality bass to anchor his day one bag; 8.02 pounds and 8.84 pounds, respectively. The larger of the two also earned Dial the Big Bass award for the tournament.

David Harris finished in second place with 26.13 pounds over two days of competition. Tim Swango’s two-day total of 25.59 pounds was enough to finish in third place. He was followed by David Glenn in fourth place with 23.58 pounds, and Stacy Thomas in fifth place with 23.09 pounds.
