Goff, Schmucker Crowned Lakeland Junior Bassmasters Champions

At the beginning of last month, November 1st and 2nd, the Lakeland Junior Bassmasters held their Classic over 2 days of competition on Lake Kissimmee. The trail recruits volunteers to take young middle and high school kids out on the water for good, friendly competition.

Bryce Goff was crowned the winner in the 11-14 age division. Goff also won the Big Bass award.

2nd place went to Cody Leroy.

3rd place went to Sebastian Greico.

Kevin Welch finished in 4th place.

Clay Harvey rounded out the Top 5 for the younger division.

Cole Schmucker earned the title of Champion in the 15-18 age division. He led the event on the first day, and refused to relinquish the top spot on the leaderboard.

Harvey Linsinbigler had a strong push towards the top of the leaderboard though. He finished in 2nd place and also won the Big Bass award, catching a 9.82-lb. Lake Kissimmee giant.

Christian Greico finished in 3rd place.

Spencer Carter claimed the 4th place spot in the final standings.

Chandler Cornelius rounded out the Top 5 in the older division.

The Lakeland Junior Bassmasters will start a new season on January 3rd on Lake Parker.
