Harrelson, Murphy lead inaugural Florida State Team Championship

Charlie Harrelson and Logan Murphy took a commanding day one lead at the 2016 Florida State Team Championship presented by Academy Sports. Harrelson and Murphy smashed 27.79 pounds of Kissimmee Chain bass to lead the 74 team field.

The Florida State Team Championship (FSTC) features the Top 4 teams from registered organizations across the state of Florida, creating a truly all-star event. Those teams were invited to compete at Lake Toho and the Kissimmee Chain of Lakes for the chance at winning a new Blazer 595 Pro Elite powered by a 200 HP Mercury Pro XS, valued at $40,000.00.

34 different organizations across the state registered to compete for the state title, and tomorrow, one team will be crowned champions. With some of the heaviest hitters the state has to offer trailing behind the leaders, it’s still anyone’s event to win.
