The IFA Redfish Tour, Florida West division, held their 2nd and final event of the 2014 season, where 74 teams gathered at Centennial Park in Sarasota, FL on Saturday September 27th, 2014. The 148 competing anglers had high hopes for the day, regardless of what the weather would bring. They were aiming to win the fully rigged Ranger Boat and Yamaha motor 1st place prize package valued at $25,995.00.

Ron Hueston and Mark Brady teamed up to catch a 16.04-lb, 2 redfish limit to beat out the 73 other teams. Their 7.91-lb. and 8.13-lb. fish, respectively, proved to be more than enough to top the rest of the competition and claim the boat/motor package. Hueston and Brady won an additional $2,600.00 for being registered in the Anglers Advantage program.
Michael Delagarza and T.J. Stewart weighed a 15.39-lb. limit to claim 2nd place and $3,041.00. The Anglers Advantage program landed them an additional $1050.00.
Kris Howell and Brett Morris rounded out the Top 3 with a 15.09-lb. limit. They won $1,850.00 for 3rd place, and an additional $950.00 for participating in the Anglers Advantage Program.

This event was the final qualifying event for the IFA Redfish Tour, prior to the Championship, October 24th-25th, 2014. Anglers, who qualified for the event being held in Houma, LA, will be fishing for 1 of 2-prize boat packages set to be awarded to 1st and 2nd place.
