Jerdan starts New Years Day 2016 with a win

One of the first events of the 2016 season was the One Largemouth Bass Open hosted by the Everglades Bassmasters of South Florida. The Hangover edition tournament took place on New Years Day at Lake Okeechobee, launching from Roland Martin Marine Center, where 40 anglers set out to kick off the 2016 season.

Chris Jerdan topped the field with a 5.68-pound kicker. Jerdan caught his winning fish by flipping a Medlock Double Weedguard jig in Coot’s Bay according to a social media post. For the win, Jerdan earned $800.00.
