Lemmon, Rood Seek Out FPRS Win

The Power-Pole Florida Pro Redfish Series, East Coast division, held their 4th and final event of the 2014 season on Saturday September 20, 2014. 28 teams launched in Titusville, FL in search of the two reds that would provide a win.

Nathaniel Lemmon and Patrick Rood of Team Seeker Rods would be the ones to locate those fish. They caught reds weighing 6.96 lbs. and 6.18 lbs. to win the event with a 13.14-lb. total.

Heath Batchelor and Danny Cox of Team Miller’s Ale House finished in 2nd place. Their 5.50-lb. and 6.15-lb. slot reds gave them an 11.65-lb. total.

Rich Thomas and Joe Ventrello rounded out the Top 3. Their two reds weighing 5.81 lbs. and 5.48 lbs. gave them a total of 11.29 lbs.

Over the course of the season, teams have been working towards finishing in the Top 25 overall. The Top 25 teams from each division, East Coast and West Coast, qualify for the end of season championship.
