Team ProFormance Wins in St. Augustine

The first East Coast divisional event of the Florida Pro Redfish Series took place on February 21st in St. Augustine, where 43 teams set out to search for a few Atlantic Coast reds.

Colin Philips and Nate Clardy showed up to weigh-in at the Conch House Marina and Resort with an impressive two redfish limit. The anglers that make up Team ProFormance caught two fish that were both just shy of the 8-pound mark. The 7.98-pound and 7.95-pound fish they set on the scales gave the team a 15.93-pound total, securing the win by more than 3 pounds. Philips and Clardy netted a $3,450.00 total in cash and prizes for the victory.

Team Donovan Heat and Air’s Jimmy and Kyle Donovan finished in second place, weighing a 12.75-pound limit. Team Action Craft finished in third place, as Ross Curington and Brian Hice weighed a 12.56-pound limit.

Rounding out the Top 5 were:

4th: Team Valley Rats-Cole Schaffer and Anthony Durel, 11.94 pounds

5th: Team St. Aug-Tommy Derringer and Charlie Parker, 11.84 pounds.

The next FPRS East Coast divisional event is scheduled for April 18th in Jacksonville. There are 3 events in both the East and West Coast divisions, with a year end championship held in Panama City. The Top 25 teams from each coast will qualify to compete in the Panama City Showdown Championship, October 2-3, 2015.
