Thrift Signs on with Fitzgerald Rods

FLW Tour Pro Bryan Thrift of Shelby, NC has signed on as the newest member of the Fitzgerald Rods National Pro Staff.

“Adding Bryan Thrift to our Pro Staff is huge,” says Fitzgerald Rods owner and founder Trevor Fitzgerald. “We have built such a great reputation in the fishing industry as building superior fishing rods that have won numerous national titles already. With Bryan Thrift on board, we will be able to have the input of yet another Professional Angler so that we can continue to build and sell the rods that fisherman want and need.”

Thrift, a former construction worker, has earned over $1.4 million in career earnings and brings a lot to the table for Fitzgerald Rods. He made the move to become a touring FLW pro in 2007. His consistency on tour is not something of luck. In his rookie year, he finished 28th in the the Angler of the Year race. Since 2007, he  has not finished lower than 8th place in the points standings, and won the Angler of the Year title in 2010.
