McCullough Wins FBN NE Kayak Event at Sampson/Rowell

Vance McCullough topped a 16 angler field in the Florida Bass Nation North East Kayak Series event at Lake Sampson/Rowell on July 8th. McCullough, an accomplished fisherman and outdoor writer, bested the field with a 5 bass limit measuring 88.25 inches. McCullough’s winning stringer measured 19.25 inches, 18.75 inches, 18.50 inches, 16.25 inches, and 15.50 inches, respectfully.

Eric Samuels caught the biggest bass of the event, measuring at 22.00 inches. Samuels finished the day in second place with a total of 84.50 inches on his best 5 bass. His other four fish measured in at 16.50 inches, 16.50 inches, 14.75 inches, and 14.75 inches.

Richard White, III finished the day in third place with 79.50 inches.

Rounding out the Top 5 were Brett Corn in fourth place with 75.50 inches, followed by David Lacinak in fifth place with 74.25 inches.
