O’Connell, Adams win Power-Pole Redfish Tour Series Championship

Salazar, Human earn Team of the Year

The Power-Pole Redfish Tour closed out the 2022/2023 season over the weekend with the Series Championship held in Delacroix, LA where 72 teams from 9 different states competed for the title. A pair of 1st place plaques weren’t the only items up for grabs, the winning team would be taking home a new 2023 Mamba Custom Boats 227VX powered by a 300 HP Mercury Pro XS package valued at $120,000.00.

When it was all said and done, Team RainShadow/Lithium Pros Sean O’Connell and Eddie Adams reigned supreme. O’Connell and Adams weighed two fish on day 1 that totaled 19.52 pounds, their largest weighing 10.17 pounds. That gave them a leading margin of just under two pounds heading into the second and final day of competition. They would be the final team to weigh on day 2, following up with a 16.63 pound, 2 fish limit to take the victory for a two day total of 36.15 pounds.
