Addair, Bullard, Hudnell all win big at Inverness Big Bass Classic

Inverness, FL- Anglers from across the state flocked to Liberty Park on Lake Henderson for the 9th Annual Inverness Big Bass Classic on March 11th. The event is unique to standard bass tournaments, a weigh-in is held every hour during the event and the largest bass weighed during that hour wins the hour. Additional prizes are given for the largest bass overall, the largest “bag” weighed during the course of the day, and a lady angler prize for the largest bass weighed in by a female angler. Each hour paid $1,000.00 to the winner, plus an additional $1,000.00 to each additional prize.

Chris Addair set the bar early in the event, winning the first hour with a 9.49 pound TrophyCatch.

Dennis Higgins took the second hour with a 7.82 pound lunker.

Scott Bullard earned the top spot in the third hour with an 8.04 pound TrophyCatch.

James Brooks secured the top spot in the fourth hour with a 7.81 pound lunker.

Kenneth Rought weighed a 4.64 pound kicker to take hour number five.

James Leconte’s 5.65 pound kicker took the top spot in the final hour.

Chris Addair’s 9.49 pound TrophyCatch held on through the duration of the event to earn Big Bass overall. Scott Bullard weighed multiple bass during the course of the day that collectively took the largest “bag” prize. Abigail Hudnell’s 5.34 pound kicker earned her the top lady angler spot.
