Carpenters top field at Garcia

Scott Carpenter and Scottie Carpenter topped a 14 boat field at the Lake Garcia divisional event of the Xtreme Bass Series on June 11th. The Carpenters weighed a 20.90 pound, 5 bass limit to take home the win.

George Short and Junior Solis finished the day in second place with a 19.62 pound, 5 bass limit. Mike Bell and Bobby Hiers finished in third place with a 19.10 pound, 5 bass limit. Rounding out the Top 5 were the teams of Mike Akers & Scott Funnell in fourth place with 18.78 pounds, followed by Jesus Villegas & Roger Gonzales in fifth place with 17.68 pounds.

Big Bass of the event went to Mike Akers & Scott Funnell with an 8.01 pound TrophyCatch.

The next event for the Xtreme Bass Series: Garcia Division is scheduled for July 8th.
