Charles Dehlinger Wins Tampa Bay Bassmasters Event on Stingy Crooked Lake

Charles Dehlinger topped a 12 boat field at the Tampa Bay Bassmasters event at Crooked Lake on June 24th, and only needed 3 fish to do it. The 4,174 acre lake has an average depth of 13 feet, with depths as deep as 45 feet. It holds more than enough water to produce both quantity and quality of bass. However, it seemingly was stingy towards the TBBB field. Dehlinger weighed an 8.86 pound, 3 bass bag to take home the win.

John Guthrie, the only angler to catch a 5 bass limit, finished the day in second place with a 6.97 pound bag. Kenny Brit finished in third place with a 6.40 pound, 4 bass bag. Rounding out the Top 5 were Danny Casting in fourth place with 5.54 pounds, followed by Steve Mitko in fifth place with 4.71 pounds.

Big Bass of the event went to Charles Dehlinger with a 5.35 pound kicker.
