Cory Kempton and Wynston Kicklighter knock out win at Orange Lake Xtreme Bass Series divisional event

Cory Kempton and Wynston Kicklighter bested a 45 boat field in the recent Xtreme Bass Series event on Orange Lake June 17th. Kempton and Kicklighter inked their first win of the season, weighing a 22.42 pound, 3 bass limit.

In light of the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission’s recent regulation changes concerning tournament exemption permits, the Xtreme Bass Series has made the decision to adopt a 3 fish limit during the specified months. This move aims to enhance the well-being of the fish, both while on the water and during the weigh-in. By implementing this limit, the requirement to measure numerous fish is eliminated, as only one fish measuring 16 inches or more is permissible per participant, in accordance with state regulations. This will help streamline the weigh-in process for a faster and more efficient afternoon at the scale.
