Eddie Yearry and Gary Yearry, Sr. topped a 22 boat field at Lake Reedy during the Xtreme Bass Series Central Florida divisional event on June 25th. The father and son duo weighed a 24.03 pound, 5 bass limit, anchoring their bag with a 6.72 pound kicker to secure the win by more than a ten pound margin of victory.
“We got into some pads and first flip got one of the six pounders,” stated Yearry, Sr. “After catching some smaller fish, we moved out to some pads in 7-1/2 feet and caught two more over six and lost at least two more over six.”
Flipping a craw from Bitter’s Bait in both Junebug and Black and Blue were their go to baits to put the winning bag together.
Wyatt Boyd and Terry Phillips finished the day in second place with an 13.86 pound, 5 bass limit. Trever Stephens and Andrew Ready finished in third place with an 13.35 pound, 5 bass limit. Rounding out the Top 5 were the teams of Gary Yearry, Jr. and Aaron Phillips in fourth place with 12.80 pounds, followed by Steve Coleman and Dee Hart in fifth place with 10.60 pounds.
Big Bass of the event went to Eddie Yearry and Gary Yearry, Sr. with their 6.72 pound kicker.

The 2023 Championship will be held November 2-4 on the Harris Chain of Lakes.
