The Toho Marine Elite One Man trail has closed the doors on the 2014 season. 26 qualifying anglers took on Lake Toho, and the rest of the Kissimmee Chain November 8th and 9th for the Elite One Man Classic.

Kevin Clark took a big lead on day 1, weighing in a 26.64-lb., 5 bass limit. Clark caught a 9.60-lb. giant that anchored his day 1 bag.

Angler of the Year winner Chad Foster sat in 2nd place, almost 11 pounds out from the lead. Foster’s day 2 limit weighed 15.86 lbs.

Jimmie Murphy was perched in 3rd place, weighing a 15.74-lb., 5 bass limit.

David Howell came in 4th place for the day by catching a 12.66-lb., 5 bass limit.

David Haworth rounded out the Top 5 for day 1 with a 12.04-lb., 5 bass limit.

Wayne Yohn made the biggest jump in the leaderboard on day 2. After only catching a 3.66-lb. bag on the 1st day, he showed up to weigh in with a 24.12-lb., 5 bass limit. Anchoring his bag was an 8.44-lb. lunker that helped propel him to a 5th place finish. His 2-day total weighed 27.78 lbs, enough to win $300.00.

David Howell upgraded from his day 1 bag with a 16.22-lb., 5 bass limit. He locked in a 4th place finish thanks to the 8.56-lb. lunker that anchored his bag. Howell won $570.00 for catching 28.88 pounds over the weekend, and an additional $200.00 for weighing in the event’s 2nd largest bass.

Like Howell, Jimmie Murphy didn’t change positions on the leaderboard. He weighed in a 13.26-lb., 5 bass limit on the 2nd day to finish the weekend with 29.00-lbs, good enough for $750.00.

Kevin Clark couldn’t duplicate his day 1 bag, and only brought a 10.34-lb. limit to the scales. He fell one spot to 2nd place with a 36.98-lb. total over both days. He won $1,500.00 for 2nd place. The 9.60-lb. lunker he caught on day 1 also won Big Bass for the event, giving Clark an additional $350.00.

Chad Foster would prove once again why he won the 2014 Angler of the Year title. On day 2, he brought a 22.64-lb. limit to the scales to claim the victory.

I targeted floating debris with an Outkast Tackle 3/4 oz RTX jig,” stated Foster. “I also mixed in a little punching with an 1.5 oz weight.”

Foster weighed in a total of 38.50 lbs. over 2 days to win $3,000.00.

Running new water the two days was the key,” Foster added.
