Howes, Mangone Win Venice Bass Club Event at Istokpoga

Mike Howes and Matt Mangone topped a 22 boat field at Lake Istokpoga for the Venice Bass Club event on July 16th. Howes and Mangone weighed a 14.87 pound, 5 bass limit to secure the win.

Bradley Scott and Robert Oakley finished the day in second place with a 13.63 pound, 5 bass limit. Steve Strickler and Mike Taranto finished in third place with a 12.85 pound, 5 bass limit. Rounding out the Top 5 were the teams of Brian Desormier and Todd Schlueter in fourth place with 12.03 pounds, followed by Mike Ortel and Brian Ortel in fifth place with 11.91 pounds.

Big Bass of the event went to Shannon Pike and Charli Bartley with a 6.00 pound kicker.
