KVD Announces Retirement After 2023 Season

At the start of what is his 33rd season, Kevin VanDam announces his retirement as a touring professional. The Kalamazoo, MI pro put up quite the resume over a career that spans more than 3 decades. 7 Bassmaster Elite Series Angler of the Year’s, 1 FLW Angler of the Year, 4 Bassmaster Classic victories, 122 career Top 10’s and 29 career wins equated to more than $7,000,000.00 in career earnings. The 2018 Bass Fishing Hall of Fame Inductee built his career with B.A.S.S. through 2019 until he moved to the Major League Fishing Bass Pro Tour. He made the announcement through an almost 3 minute video posted on his YouTube channel.
