Myers II, Bush Claim Outcasts Title

The 2014 season of the Outcasts Bass Club has come to a close. They finished the year off with a 2-day club classic, November 1st and 2nd on Lake Okeechobee. 15 qualifying teams launched from Scott Driver Park with hopes of claiming the title.

At the close of the scales on day 2, the team of John Myers II and Reggie Bush sat atop the standings, and would be crowned champions. They weighed in 30.20 lbs. over 2 days en route to the victory. Their tournament best 18.14-lb. bag on the 2nd day propelled them up the leaderboard to secure the win.

Team of the Year winners Rennie Gauvin and John Myers III finished in 2nd place for the event. Their 2 day total weighed 24.00-lbs.

3rd place was claimed by runners up in the Team of the Year race, Jason Kitchens and Gary Bennet. Their 2 day bag weighed 22.10 lbs.

The team of George Thomasson and Brian Elser finished in 4th place with a 21.80-lb., 2 day total.

Rounding out the Top 5 was the team of James and Jonathan Padgett. Their total for the weekend weighed 21.40 lbs.

The day 1 Big Bass was awarded to Thomasson and Elser for their 5.30-lb. kicker.

Tournament winners John Myers II and Reggie Bush anchored their day 2 bag with a 4.30-lb. kicker that took Big Bass honors the 2nd day.

The club kicks off the 2015 season on January 24th on Lake Kissimmee.
