Blaine Partee made his first event competing with ABA pay off. The Ohio native, who now resides in Oveido, Fla., brought an 18.63 pound, 5 bass limit to the scales to claim the victory, and the $5,000.00 1st place prize. Partee focused on offshore grass later in the day to catch his winning limit. His bait of choice was a Gambler Baits swim jig paired with a Gambler Baits Big EZ.

Jeremy Smith finished in 2nd place, catching a 17.64 pound limit. Smith threw a Chatter-Bait around Lake Kissimmee to earn his $1883.00 check. Neil Davis flipped matted vegetation on Lake Kissimmee to catch a 17.10 pound limit. Those 5 fish earned Davis a 3rd place finish and $1264.00.

Cody Detweiler caught a 9.85 pound beast of a largemouth to win the event’s Big Bass award worth $950.00. Detweiler stated he was covering as much water as he could, throwing a Reaction Innovations Skinny Dipper, when he caught his Big Bass.
