About the Jade’s Journey Bass Tournament

The Jade’s Journey Bass Tournament was originally started at Camp Mack during the spring of 2017 by Lane Crosson as a fundraiser for his cousin Jade Jackson who has been battling brain cancer and treatment effects since 2014. Following Lane’s tragic death in the fall of 2017, Lane’s closest family and friends continued on the tournament each year in order to continue what Lane had started in raising continuing funds for Jade through the Jade’s Journey Fund. In 2021, the newly formed LC5 Foundation took over the Jade’s Journey Bass Tournament in its 5th annual year. The Jade’s Journey Bass Tournament is now in its 7th annual year.

About the LC5 Foundation

The LC5 Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that will be working with private sponsors while also holding 4 fundraising events per year. A portion of their proceeds will be going to benefit Jade’s Journey, as well as the creation of high school scholarships in Lane’s memory, and the creation of a leadership program. Jades Journey is a fund set up to mitigate costs for Lane’s cousin Jade and her battle against childhood brain cancer. The scholarships are in Lane’s memory given out once a year to help graduating seniors mitigate the costs of higher education. The leadership program will help to grow leadership qualities and provide opportunities for personal development for students enrolled in the program.

Mission: “Our mission is to inspire, guide and empower the youth in our community through continuing Lanes selfless legacy of serving others.”
