Teschendorf, Gillman secure victory in Bartow Ford-Toho Marine Elite Pro Team Trail

Ricky Teschendorf & Shane Gillman bested an 88 boat field at the season opener of the Bartow Ford-Toho Marine Elite Pro Team Trail at Lake Kissimmee. Launching out of Camp Mack, Teschendorf & Gillman were able to top the field with a 31.63-pound, 5 fish limit to win. The duo anchored their winning bag with a 9.06 pound TrophyCatch. Chris Crow & Scott Brannen took home second place with a 27.74 pound, 5 bass limit. Ray Trudeau & Walter Thompson finished the day in third place with 27.16 pounds. Rounding out the Top 5 were the teams of Channing Thorpe & Chuck Pons in fourth place with 25.24 pounds, followed by William Weil & Tracy Bray in fifth place with 24.90 pounds. Weil and Bray earned the event’s Big Bass award, weighing a 9.80 pound TrophyCatch to earn the honor. In all, 6 TrophyCatch quality fish were weighed during the event.
