Dial tops Lunker Lovers field at Kissimmee

The Winter Haven Lunker Lovers Bass Club is one of the older in the state of Florida. The club travels to various bodies of water across the state, but seems to have an affinity for the Kissimmee Chain of Lakes.

The club traveled to the Kissimmee Chain for the fourth time this season, where Jared Dial took top honors for his second victory of the season. Dial, who won the two-day event at Lake Okeechobee in February of this year, weighed a 22.44-pound bag in his victory on the Kissimmee Chain. Dial anchored his bag with the event’s Big Bass, a 7.70-pound kicker.

Frank Kominsky finished the day in second place with 18.57 pounds. Van Soles took a third place finish with 18.10 pounds, followed by David Harris in fourth place with 14.39 pounds and Mike Childers in fifth place with 14.30 pounds.

The Lunker Lovers travel to Lake Istokpoga for their next event October 10-11, 2015, followed by the club’s classic November 7-8 at Lake Kissimmee. For more information visit www.lunkerlovers.com.
