After winning the Grand Cru Open out of Lake Kissimmee the day prior, Will Evans and Darrell Cranor made the drive to Istokpoga to sit atop the leaderboard back-to-back days. Their 18.13-lb., 5 bass limit narrowly edged out 2nd place. An 8.01-lb. lunker helped propel them to their 2nd win in as many days, as well as another Big Bass award.

Tom McGinnis and John Wood took the runner-up spot with an 18.03-lb., 5 bass limit. A 7.01-lb. ‘Poga stud helped keep them towards the top of the leaderboard.

Brad Day and Jim Burke rounded out the Top 3, catching a 15.52-lb., 5 bass limit.

All season, anglers have been fishing to qualify for the end of season classic being held on Lake Seminole October 23-25. At this year’s championship, qualifying anglers will have the opportunity to fish for a brand new Ranger Z119 powered by a 200HP Evinrude outboard. To qualify, anglers must fish 7 events in one division, or 8 events total of all divisions. Follow the link for more information on the XBS Championship.
