Evans, Cranor Take Top Spot at Grand Cru Open

The 1st Annual Grand Cru that Wales Built Bass Tournament took place on Saturday, August 30th on the Kissimmee Chain. Launching out of Camp Mack’s River Resort, 15 teams participated in the inaugural event held over the Labor Day weekend.

Will Evans and Darrell Cranor teamed-up to fish the event. They weighed in a hefty 27.10-lb., 5 bass limit to claim the win. The giant 9.95-lb. lunker that anchored their bag also won the Big Bass award for the event.

Derek Moore and Wesley Wise finished in the runner-up spot, weighing a 25.25-lb, 5 bass limit.

Eddie Mills and Sammy J. Acree took 3rd place with a 24.35-lb, 5 bass limit.

Garrett Rocamora and Joey Bruce teamed up to catch a 23.25-lb., 5 bass limit. They also had a noteworthy lunker that weighed in at 9.00 lbs.

Bobby Corey and Henry Rodriguez rounded out the Top 5. A 5.60-lb. kicker anchored their 16.70-lb. limit.
