For the team of Mike and Matt Bedenbaugh, luck was on their side. With rising water levels due to recent rains, the father/son duo whacked a 30.65-lb., 6 fish limit to triumph over the rest of the field.

William Weil and William Farmer led the event until the Bedenbaugh’s set their bag on the scale. Weil and Farmer pulled in a 28.90-lb., 6 fish limit, with 2 monster bass anchoring their bag. Their biggest bass, a 10.10-lb. giant won the tournament’s Big Bass award. Their other Trophy Catch quality bass weighed in at 9.50 lbs.

Richie Upchurch and Darrell Cranor rounded out the Top 3 with a 23.75-lb., 6 fish limit.

Here’s the rest of the Top 10:

Camp Mack Team Results 9-28

Chandler Cornelius holds up his 8.50-lb. Trophy Catch Lunker

Chandler Cornelius holds up his 8.95-lb. Trophy Catch Lunker

Notable: Chandler Cornelius and Jason Liggett only weighed one fish for the event, an 8.95-lb. lunker. That fish led the event for Big Bass until Weil and Farmer weighed in. Even though they didn’t cash a check in the event, that fish qualifies them for the Trophy Catch program.
