Nelson, Neal Increase Points Lead with Win

“From the Green Swamp to the St. John’s River.” The 11 lakes that make up the Clermont Chain of Lakes played host to the Bass Attack Trail’s 4th event of the season on Saturday September 27th.

Team of the Year leaders Brian Nelson and team partner Neil Davis increased their point’s lead as they claimed the Clermont win. They duo brought a 12.90-lb., 5 bass limit to the scales to bring home the team’s 2nd victory of the season.

Falling in a very close 2nd place was the team of Brandon Abston and Joey Eichelberger. Their bag weighed 12.75 lbs., a mere 2-ounces shy of the top spot.

Rounding out the Top 3 was the team of Herb Mays and Kurtis Mays. Their 12.37-lb. bag also consisted of the event’s Big Bass, a 4.75-lb. kicker.
