Guttuso Wins on Osborne, Lamb Wins as Co-Angler

The Lake Worth Boynton Beach Bassmasters launched on Lake Osborne for the club’s 3rd event of the season on December 21st. 16 boaters and 13 co-anglers caught to increase their position in the Angler of the Year standings.

John Guttuso took the top spot in the boater field catching a 15.32-lb., 5 bass limit to secure his first win of the season.

Jimmy Darcy just missed out on the win, but a dead fish penalty caused Darcy to slip to 2nd place with a 15.30-lb. total.

Aaron Oder took 3rd place with a 12.34-lb., 5 bass limit. Anchoring Oder’s bag was a 5.79-lb. kicker that won the Big Bass award.

Mark Lamb took the win over the 12 other co-anglers while fishing from the back of Jim Stovall’s boat. Lamb, caught 5 fish that weighed 12.60-lbs. to secure the win.

Michael Tracy went out with Jake Whitman as boat #1, but finished in 2nd place with an 11.52-lb., 5 bass bag. A 4.85-lb. kicker anchored Tracy’s limit.

Finishing in 3rd place amongst co-anglers was Steve O’Brien. O’Brien, who fished with Steve Stout, secured a 3rd place finish with a 10.84-lb., 5 bass limit.

 

The next event for the Lake Worth Boynton Beach Bassmasters is scheduled for January 25th on Lake Okeechobee, launching from the Moore Haven boat ramp.
