Inabnett and Sievert top Wolfson Children’s Hospital VIP and Friends Bass Tournament

Palatka, FL-The Wolfson Children’s Hospital VIP and Friends Bass Tournament set out today on the scenic St. John’s River. The event featured 83 teams of anglers, sponsors, and friends of the Wolfson Children’s Hospital. This annual event not only offered a thrilling competition for avid anglers but also raised funds to benefit the renowned Wolfson Children’s Hospital, providing essential healthcare services to children in need.

The event culminated in a victory for Danny Inabnett and Randy Sievert, who emerged as champions by bringing in a total weight of 17.73 pounds across the scales. Their performance earned them the coveted title of VIP & Friends Champions and a well-deserved prize of $1,000.00. “This is the fourth or fifth time we’ve won the VIP and Friends event over the years,” said Inabnett. They hope to keep the momentum rolling for tomorrow’s main event of the week, the 34th Annual Wolfson Children’s Bass Tournament.

Derek Daniels and Michael Johnson secured second place with a total weight of 17.18 pounds, claiming a prize of $750.00. The third-place finishers, Eric Lewis and Kevin Flanigan, showcased their skills with a total weight of 16.34 pounds, earning $600.00.

Fourth place went to Steve Bishop and Buddy Cohrs, who brought in a commendable total weight of 15.12 pounds, adding $500.00 to their accomplishments. David McIntyre and Michael Johnson locked down a fifth place finish with a total weight of 14.75 pounds, securing a prize of $250.00. McIntyre and Johnson also landed the biggest bass of the day, an impressive 6.97-pound River Kicker, earning them an additional $1,000.00. James Barkoskie & Dale Wiles secured the second big bass overall with a 6.64 pound lunker worth $500.00.
