Lee, Schooley Wrap Up 4 Corners Win

The 4 Corners Bass Club held their end of season, 2 day classic over the weekend of February 7th and 8th, at Lake Okeechobee.

Johnny and Brent Sims took an early lead on the first day of the event, weighing a 10 pound, 7 ounce, 5 bass limit. Chris Majesty and Paul Bibus sat in second place with an 8 pound, 10 ounce limit. Patrick Lee and Jim Schooley rounded out the Top 3 on day 1 with a 7 pound, 12 ounce limit. Day 1 leaders Johnny and Brent Sims slipped down to second place in the final standings, as they caught an even 8-pound, 5 bass limit on day 2. Team Sims had an 18 pound, 7 ounce 2-day total for the event. Chris Majesty and Paul Bibus only weighed 4 fish on the 2nd day for 6-08, giving the team a 15-pound, 2-ounce final total, setting them in 3rd place. Arnold and Vicky Avila made the biggest move on the final day. After catching only 3 fish weighing 3-08 on day 1, they bounced back with an 11 pound, 3-ounce limit on the 2nd day. Their efforts were not enough, however, as they finished in 4th place. It would be the team of Patrick Lee and Jim Schooley who would claim the club’s Classic Title. They caught an even 12-pound limit on the final day, giving the duo a 19-12 total over 2 days.
