Lucas & Massey Bust 30+ during XBS Toho Event

The Lake Toho division of the Xtreme Fishing Series kept the season moving along on May 25th, fishing out of Red’s Fish Camp. Ken Lucas and Dell Massey beat 12 other teams with a massive 31.64-pound limit, anchored by a 9.51-pound toad. That fish also claimed Big Bass honors for the day. Jeremy Smith and Jim Folks took the runner up spot with a solid 25.30-pound limit, anchored by a 6.75-pound lunker. Jim Miller and Andrew Lee rounded out the top 3, being the only other team to break the 20-pound mark. Their 5 fish limit weighed 21.26 pounds.

There are 4 events left in the season for the Toho division before the end of year championship. At this year’s championship, qualifying anglers will be fishing for a new Ranger Z119 powered by a 200HP Evinrude outboard. To qualify, anglers must fish 7 events in one division, or 8 events total of all divisions. The next event for the Lake Toho division is scheduled for June 28th.
