The Florida Central Legacy Division of the Fishers of Men National Tournament Trail hosted their third and final event of the season on Johns Lake in Clermont, FL. We had 7 teams who blasted off to a rainy, stormy morning.
First place went to John and Savannah Cox with a total weight of 19.13 lbs and Big Bass of 7.22. John and Savannah found clearer water which was the key to catching those bigger fish. They also took home Big Bass of the Year honors. Coming in second place was the team of Dan and Tyler Post with 10.55 lbs.
2nd Place
Trash fish was a 2.44lb Pickerel caught by Brian and Brooke Nelson. A big Congratulations to Brian and Brooke Nelson who are our 2014 Points Champions.
Our Friday meeting was held at Minneola Alliance Church. We are very grateful of their support over the years. They catered a wonderful Pork Tenderloin dinner and no Legacy angler left hungry. Our message was given by Dr. Billy Graham in his video entitled “The Cross”. In it, he states that the cross is offensive because it demands one to change his or her ways. The cross is much more than a religious symbol, for without the cross, there would be no hope for us, eternally separated from God.
This concludes our 2014 season. I hope and pray that the rest of the year goes well for you and I’m already looking ahead to the 2015 Season.
