Team Harris Tops Leaderboard at Harris Chain

The Bass Attack Trail held the 6th event of their season on the Harris Chain of Lakes on November 15th. With temperatures in the mid-40’s the morning of the event, 23 teams took off from Herlong Park on Lake Griffin to battle cold front conditions, and the seasonally tough Harris Chain.

Despite the tough conditions, the team of Jesse and Dylan Harris proved they could rise above the rest. Team Harris caught a 13.36-lb., 5 bass limit to win their 1st event of the season. A 5.72-lb. kicker anchored their bag, helping to secure the win.

Don Fisher finished in a close 2nd place with a 12.83-lb., 5 bass limit. Fisher also won the Big Bass award by weighing a 5.83-lb. kicker.

Zack Smith and Kevin Murrell found themselves in 3rd place after the close of the scales. They weighed a 12.39-lb., 5 bass limit.

George Wilbanks and Buddy Peters finished very closely behind Smith and Murrell. They weighed a 12.27-lb. bag to claim 4th place.
