On March 21st, Bryan Jones topped a 13 boat field on Lake Parker during the Tri-County Bass Club’s monthly tournament. Jones, who has put up multiple wins and top finishes in recent weeks on Parker weighed a 15.25-pound limit. –

The U.S.A. Bassin’ National Tournament Trail’s Trout Creek Spring divisional event on the St. Johns River was won by Josh Cone and Tony Jolley. Cone and Jolley weighed a 12.17-pound, 5 bass limit en route to the victory. John Redden and Dick Dewiggins finished in second place, weighing an 11.99-pound limit. Craig Goff and Robbie Robinson finished in third place with 9.41 pounds.-

The Paralyzed Veterans of America Bass Tour held a series of event March 28-29 at Lake Toho.  Shelbyville, KY’s Michael Murphy won the Individual Bank Competition on Saturday with a 2.55-pounder. Kristopher Carver of Deltona, FL and Brian Wenrich of Martinez, GA won the Open Competition on Saturday with a 9.21-pound, 5 bass limit. Kurt Glass of Grovetown, GA and Philip Cammarata of Oveido, FL finished in second place with 9.16 pounds. Doug Price of Cornith, MS and Troy Dittmar of Cocoa, FL finished third with 8.67 pounds.

Sunday’s Team Bank Competition was won by Terry Tyna of Valley View, OH and Donna Hendrickson of Garland, TX as they weighed 5.27 pounds. David Cianfarano of Fountain Inn, SC and boat parter Dennis Galas won the Team Competition on Sunday, weighing a 12.58-pound, 5 bass limit. Kenneth Mumford of Frisco, TX and boat partner Bob Theilacker finished in second place, weighing 11.98 pounds. Tony Choe of Fairfax Station, VA and boat partner Scott Timney weighed 10.04 pounds to finish in third.-

The Fishers of Men Stren Team Series National Championship took place at the Harris Chain of Lakes, March 26-28. Glenn Wellborn and David Martindill earned the victory over the 140 boat field. The team from the Florida Central Division weighed 49.74 pounds over the 3 days of competition to win a Skeeter FX21 powered by a Yamaha 250 SHO, valued at over $70,000.00. John Brazzell and Josh Davis, also from the Florida Central Division, earned a second place finish at the event. The duo won a Skeeter TZX190 powered by a Yamaha 150 HP outboard, as they weighed 47.31 pounds. Third place was awarded to JD Shockey and Dave Crawford of the Virginia West Division. Shockey and Crawford weighed 44.35 pounds over 3 days.-

The Central Florida Division of the U.S.A. Bassin’ National Tournament Trail launched from Kissimmee Lakefront Park on March 29th for the second of five events for the season. Rich Patterson and Dave Smith crushed the 23 boat field, weighing a 24.15-pound, 5 bass limit. They anchored their catch with a 9.80-pound Big Bass. Darren Simmons and Phillip Anderson finished in second place, weighing a 14.35-pound limit. Ken Lucas and Danny Lanier weighed an even 14.00-pound limit to finish in third place.
