Bush, Eptstein Earn Win at Toho

The Outcasts Bass Club continued their 30th season, with the third event of the year, at Lake Toho on March 28th. The 22 competing teams were regulated to fish only Lake Toho, as they were not allowed to lock through to any of the lower lakes of the Kissimmee Chain.

Reggie Bush and Gilberto Epstein managed to haul an 18.68-pound, 5 bass limit to the scales to earn the day’s top spot. A 6.14-pound kicker anchored the team’s winning bag. TJ Simmons and his partner Marion (last name not available) finished in second place with a 16.21-pound limit, anchored by a 6.69-pounder. Tom Stanforth and Don Faulkner finished the day with a third place finish, as well as the Big Bass honor. The 6.81-pound kicker anchored Stanforth and Faulkner’s 14.08-pound bag. John Catlin and Rick Bateman finished in fourth place, weighing a 13.23-pound limit. The final spot amongst the Top 5 was claimed by Mike and Matt Bedenbaugh, as they weighed an 11.30-pound limit.

The club’s next event will be held April 25-26 at Lake Okeechobee, as Outcasts anglers will compete over two days of competition. More information on this event can be found on the Event Calendar.
