Trudeau Wins on the Big O

Lakeland Bassmasters, “The Largest B.A.S.S. affiliated club in the world,” offers unique opportunities for the experienced angler and those new to tournament bass fishing. Members have the opportunity to fish with, and against, some of the most experienced anglers in Central Florida.

52 anglers, comprised of boaters and non-boaters alike, took to the waters of Lake Okeechobee on September 14th for the club’s 9th event of the season.

Boater Raymond Trudeau found the right bites on Sunday to beat out the 32-boat field. Trudeau brought a 5 bass limit to the scales weighing 16.35 lbs. to win the event. Anchoring his bag was a 5.48-lb. kicker.
