Mike Crosby and Ryan Crosby bested a 42 boat field in the recent Xtreme Bass Series event on Orange Lake July 15th. Crosby and Crosby ran away with the win, weighing a 24.80 pound, 3 bass limit. Their bag consisted of fish weighing 12.15 pounds and a 11.37 pounds, respectfully, with the 12 pound class fish taking overall Big Bass honors for the event.
Kyle Moore and Bert Cyrulinski finished the day in second place with an 18.91 pound, 3 bass limit. Scott Adams and Steven Adams finished in third place with an 17.23 pound, 3 bass limit. Rounding out the Top 5 were the teams of David Simms & Joel Simms in fourth place with 15.86 pounds, followed by Pete Roberson & Rob Roberson in fifth place with 14.27 pounds.
The Xtreme Bass Series is the largest grassroots bass tournament trail across Florida, featuring 12 divisions and 108 events throughout the season. Anglers can compete in close-to-home events on local bodies of water, keeping costs down and affording them the opportunity to compete in the end of season championship. Teams who compete in 7 of 9 events in one division, or 8 events in a combination of divisions will qualify for the end of season championship event. The 2023 Championship will be held November 2-4 on the Harris Chain of Lakes.
