Land O’ Lakes, FL-The team of Blake Williams and Ryan Brown bested 41 other anglers by bringing in a 5 bass limit, weighing 27.35 pounds to the scales at the Xtreme Bass Series 2nd event out of Lake Kissimmee. Their 7.45 pound kicker anchored their bag, and gave them almost a 2 pound advantage over brothers Carry and Terry Frisenda. The Frisenda’s 25.45 pound limit was anchored by a giant, weighing 10.55 pounds. Their lunker allowed them to narrowly pass by Allen Prince and Shawn Phillips, who finished 3rd. Their 5 bass limit weighed 25.40 pounds. Richard Anthony and Scott Perry landed 5 bass weighing 23.30 pounds. It was enough to take 4th place and hold off John Myers and Bill Rutkowski. Myers and Rutkowski finished 5th with 23.00 pounds, but took Big Bass honors, with a massive 11.45 pound lunker. 8 teams weighed in over 20 pounds during the event.
The Xtreme Bass Series, Kissimmee Division, will hold their 3rd event of the season out of Camp Mack on March 9th. More information on the event can be found here.
