Land O’ Lakes, FL- The team of Ron Yurko and Steve Burke brought their A-Game to round 2 of Xtreme Bass Series event on Lake Talquin. They were runners up at the first event, and were not to be deprived of an early season victory. Their 5 bass topped the scales at 27.80 pounds. Yurko and Burke’s bag was anchored by a giant 10.05 pounder that took the events Big Bass honors.
Yurko and Burke edged out the team of David Boyd and David Howell. Boyd and Howell’s 5 bass limit weighed 27.13 pounds. They won the season’s opening event in January, trumping Yurko and Burke. The team of David Heflin and Mickey Roach brought 20.13 pounds to the scale to round out the top 3.
