Wooten, Stewart prove they’re All About the Bass

When it comes to the Kissimmee Chain, Bobby Wooten and Chad Stewart are no strangers to top spots on the leaderboard. The longtime tournament partners netted a 28-pound, five-bass limit to win the All About the Bass tournament held at Camp Mack on July 18th. Stewart anchored their bag with the tournament’s Big Bass, a stout 10.65-pound lunker, winning an additional $80.00 to the $500.00 the team earned for first place.

Erik Tilson and Mark Krutzky weighed a solid 18.35-pound, five-bass limit to finish in second place, earning $250.00. John Adkinson and Robert Bishop took home $100.00 for a third place finish as they weighed a 16.75-pound, five-bass limit.

“The tournament was a fundraiser for the Greater Mulberry Chamber of Commerce,” stated Madalyn Kissel, Executive Director of the G.M.C.C.

Not unlike other area chambers, the G.M.C.C. is a Not for Profit and holds various events to raise the funds needed to assist day to day business.

“We would like to give special thanks to our sponsors,” Kissel added. “Our title sponsor was Edgen Murray. Our raffle prizes were donated by D. Wayne Shouppe Construction, Walmart, T.A. Mahoney, Burk’s Financial Group, and Breathe Like a Fish.”

A Yeti Cooler and a shooting package, among other prizes were a part of the raffle items.
