Robey, Carmichael Win at Okeechobee

The Lake Wales Po Boys held the 10th event of their 2014-2015 season at Lake Okeechobee on January 25th. One day after the record setting 250 boat field for the Rayovac FLW Series, 23 teams from the Polk County based club tried their luck on the Big O.

The Team of Daryl Robey and Carl Carmichael bested the field of anglers with a 16.67-pound, 5 bass limit. A 6.37-pounder helped in their effort, and also earned the team the Big Bass award.

Keith Hadden and Brian Hutto claimed a second place finish with a 13.35-pound limit. Dave Harrod and Joe McGuire took third place, weighing a 10.85-pound limit. John and Perry Cincotta followed behind in fourth place (9.96), along with Buddy Mongiovi and Keith Barca in fifth (9.71).

The Lake Wales Po Boys will compete at Crooked Lake on February 22nd for the 11th stop of their season. More information on this club and their next tournament can be found on the Event Calendar.
